Chiswick

Location

The Chiswick field is situated approximately 75 miles off the coast of Norfolk, UK. It is part of the Greater Markham Area (GMA) in the Southern North Sea.

History and Production

The Chiswick field has been producing gas since 2007. In 2020, Spirit Energy successfully drilled a new well, C6, which came online on March 11, 2020. This new well added up to 15 million standard cubic feet of gas per day to the field's production, bringing the total production from the GMA to 110 million standard cubic feet of gas per day. This increased production is enough to heat nearly 950,000 homes.

Recent Developments

The new C6 well at Chiswick was completed two months ahead of schedule and is expected to help extend the life of the GMA hub until 2028. The successful drilling campaign exceeded expectations and provided valuable data to identify further drilling targets in the area.

Infrastructure

The Chiswick field is associated with a normally unmanned installation (NUI) platform.
