Infrastructure and Development

A significant aspect of the Jitang Gas Field development involves the relocation of a suction pile wellhead platform from the Ophir field. This relocation was completed in August 2019 by SPT Offshore, with the assistance of Redtech Offshore Sdn. Bhd. and DISA Singapore. The platform was relocated using the floating sheerlegs Asian Hercules 3, marking the first time a wellhead platform was relocated in one piece without structural modifications.
