The project involves the production of natural gas from fields within the Nile delta, including both shallow water and land areas. The production started remarkably quickly, just two months after the discovery of the field, thanks to the reuse of existing infrastructure.

• Rapid Development: The time to market was exceptionally brief, with gas production commencing only two months after the discovery. This was achieved by leveraging existing infrastructure and later building a new pipeline to transport larger quantities of gas to the El Gamil processing plant.
• Production Capacity: The project has seen significant growth, with production reaching 215,000 barrels of oil equivalent (boe) per day at its peak. Eni's share of the production is approximately 67,000 boe per day.
