Shaw Projects & Modules Business Unit

In September 2024, The Shaw Group announced the formation of a new business unit called Shaw Projects & Modules. This unit integrates the capabilities of its subsidiaries, Chemex Global and KP Engineering, along with Shaw’s modular fabrication facility in Lake Charles, Louisiana.

• Chemex Global: Acquired in 2021, Chemex brings 45 years of experience in modularization and project execution globally.
• KP Engineering (KPE): Acquired in 2023, KPE contributes 20 years of experience in refining, renewable fuels, hydrogen, syngas, and specialty chemicals markets.
• Lake Charles Facility: The 295-acre facility includes 10 acres under roof and 250 feet of dockside access, making it a significant hub for module fabrication.
