Vessel Description

Prima Queen is a Ropax (Roll-on/Roll-off Passenger) ferry built in 2000 by Kvaerner Masa-Yards in Helsinki, Finland. Originally delivered as Superfast VII for Superfast Ferries, the vessel served Mediterranean routes before being transferred and renamed Europalink for Stena Line's North Sea and Baltic operations.

Acquired by Viking Line, she was renamed Prima Queen and integrated into the company's Baltic Sea network. The vessel features multiple passenger decks with cabin accommodations, restaurant and retail facilities, and significant vehicle/cargo deck capacity, consistent with modern Ropax ferry design. Her diesel-electric propulsion system, supplied by Wärtsilä, delivers efficient performance appropriate for the short- to medium-range Baltic Sea environment.

The ship is registered under the Finnish flag and operates under the management of Viking Line Abp, one of the leading ferry operators in the Baltic region.
