Vessel Description

Berge Vinson is a Valemax-class very large ore carrier (VLOC), one of the largest bulk carriers in the world. The vessel is purpose-built for the transport of iron ore and dry bulk commodities on long-haul ocean routes. As part of the Berge Bulk fleet, she operates primarily in the heavy bulk trade, serving major mining and steel production supply chains. The Valemax class was developed in partnership with Vale S.A. to optimize the transportation of iron ore from Brazilian and Australian ports to high-demand markets in Asia. The vessel's scale provides significant economies of scale in bulk cargo transportation.
