Vessel Description

VALLEBLU is an Italian-flagged Ro-Pax (Roll-on/Roll-off passenger) ferry operated by Grimaldi Lines, one of Europe's leading ferry and cargo shipping companies. Built by the renowned Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri and delivered in 2011, the vessel is part of Grimaldi's "Blue" series fleet.

She is designed to carry both accompanied passenger vehicles and freight units (trucks, trailers, cars) alongside passengers, operating primarily on Western Mediterranean routes connecting Italian ports with Spanish ports. The vessel combines passenger accommodation amenities with significant rolling cargo capacity, which is characteristic of the Grimaldi Euromed fleet serving the Italy–Spain corridor.

As part of the Grimaldi Group fleet, VALLEBLU contributes to one of the most commercially active short-sea shipping routes in the Mediterranean, serving both tourist traffic and freight logistics between the Italian peninsula and the Iberian Peninsula.
