Vessel Description
MSC Seaside is a large resort-class cruise ship and the flagship vessel of the Seaside-class for MSC Cruises. She was purpose-designed to maximize ocean views and outdoor living, featuring a distinctive dual-level promenade along her stern and hull that allows passengers unprecedented proximity to the sea. Delivered in November 2017, she was officially named at a ceremony in Miami on December 21, 2017.
The vessel introduced a radically innovative architectural design developed in collaboration with Yacht Club de Monaco design standards, conceived by naval architects and designers to bring the feel of a superyacht to a large cruise ship. Key lifestyle features include:
- Infinity-style boardwalk and promenade at sea level along the stern
- Multiple outdoor pool areas and sun decks across upper decks
- Yacht Club private luxury enclave (ship-within-a-ship concept)
- Extensive dining portfolio with over 30 bars and restaurants
- A large waterpark and sports facilities
- 4D cinema, casino, and theater entertainment venues
- MSC Aurea Spa wellness complex
MSC Seaside operates predominantly from PortMiami on Caribbean itineraries and is considered one of the most innovative and visually distinctive cruise ships in the modern fleet, blending large-ship amenities with an open-air, sea-facing design philosophy.
