The Lynne Moran is a Robert Allan Ltd.-designed articulated tug and barge (ATB) assist and harbor tug operated by Moran Towing Corporation, one of the oldest and most established tugboat companies in the United States. Built in 2006 by Washburn & Doughty Associates, the vessel is representative of modern American harbor tug design, featuring a compact but powerful hull with twin-screw diesel propulsion suited for ship-assist, escort, and towing operations. As part of the Moran Towing fleet, the Lynne Moran supports commercial port operations including tanker and container ship assists, barge towing, and emergency response services along the US East and Gulf Coasts.
