Vessel Description

The Abu Samrah is a modern LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) carrier operating under the Marshall Islands flag and registered to Nakilat, Qatar's national gas transport company. Built at Hyundai Heavy Industries in South Korea and delivered in 2022, the vessel represents the latest generation of large LNG carriers deployed in support of Qatar's liquefied natural gas export operations.

The vessel operates on international LNG trade routes, primarily transporting LNG from the Arabian Gulf to markets in Asia, Europe, and beyond. As part of the Nakilat fleet, the Abu Samrah plays a strategic role in Qatar's energy export infrastructure, one of the world's largest LNG supply networks.

The vessel is equipped with dual-fuel propulsion technology, consistent with modern environmental and efficiency standards, and transmits AIS data for maritime tracking and safety purposes.
