Vessel Description

BARU VEGA is a Brazilian-flagged Platform Supply Vessel (PSV) operated by Bravante Offshore, one of Brazil's prominent offshore marine service companies. Built in 2013 at a Brazilian shipyard, the vessel was constructed to support deepwater and ultra-deepwater offshore oil and gas exploration and production activities along the Brazilian continental shelf. Equipped with Dynamic Positioning 2 (DP2) capability, BARU VEGA is capable of maintaining precise station-keeping during cargo transfer operations, subsea support, and supply runs to offshore platforms and FPSOs. The vessel's diesel-electric propulsion system and azimuth thrusters provide enhanced maneuverability in demanding offshore conditions.
