The Borssele V wind farm is located in the Dutch North Sea, approximately 18.5 kilometers from the coast of Egmond aan Zee in the Netherlands.

- Offshore Solar Park: It will include the world's first offshore solar farm integrated within a wind farm. The solar park, provided by Dutch supplier Oceans of Energy, will be installed in 2025 and will produce energy on sunny but less windy days, enhancing the utilization of the offshore power grid infrastructure.
- Baseload Power Hub: The project includes an integrated fuel cell system to convert excess wind energy into green hydrogen through an electrolyzer and store it as green hydrogen. It also includes battery storage for shorter-term power storage. The system features a containerized fuel cell power solution with a peak power capacity of 1 MW to regenerate stable and baseload power.
- Monopile Foundations: The monopiles used in this project are of the 'TP-less' type, meaning they do not require transition pieces, which enables faster installation and cost reductions.
Operational Timeline

Grid Connection
- The power produced by the turbines will be transported to an offshore transformer substation, where it will be converted and then transferred to the onshore substation before feeding into the national electricity grid.
