  • Developed and owned by Huaneng Renewables, a subsidiary of China Huaneng Group. Huaneng Renewables has a 100% stake in the project.

Commissioning

  • The project was commissioned in September 2019.

Capacity and Phases

  • The total nominal power of the project is 301.6 MW.
    • Phase 1: Equipped with Envision Energy EN136-4.2 turbines, consisting of 48 turbines with a 4.2 MW nameplate capacity each.
    • Phase 2: Equipped with China Shipbuilding Group Haizhuang Wind Power H151-5.0 turbines, consisting of 20 turbines with a 5 MW nameplate capacity each.

Foundation Type

  • The wind turbines are installed on fixed foundations, specifically using an array of monopile foundations.

Energy Production

  • The project generates approximately 740,000 MWh of electricity per year, which is enough to power around 500,000 households.
  • It offsets about 620,000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) annually.

Contractors Involved

  • The turbines for Phase 1 are provided by Envision Energy, and for Phase 2 by China Shipbuilding Group Haizhuang Wind Power.
