Project Details

Capacity and Turbines

• The wind farm has a total nominal power of 200,000 kW (200 MW).
• It consists of 80 turbines, each being Goldwind GW109/2500 models with a power output of 2,500 kW and a rotor diameter of 109 meters.

Commissioning and Operational Status

• The project was commissioned and entered into commercial operation in November 2017.
• The wind farm is currently operational.

Foundations

• The wind turbines are installed on fixed foundations, specifically an array of monopile foundations.

Electricity Generation

• The project generates approximately 700,000 MWh of electricity per year, which is sufficient to power around 500,000 households.

Environmental Impact

• The wind farm helps offset significant carbon dioxide emissions, estimated at around 527,000 tons of CO2 per year.
