Dafeng H6

Location

The Dafeng H6 Offshore Wind Power Project is located in the Yellow Sea, off the coast of Jiangsu Province, China.

Developer and Owner

The project is developed and owned by China Longyuan Power Group Corp Ltd (CLPGC), a subsidiary of China Energy Investment Corporation Ltd.

Capacity and Generation

• The wind farm has a total nominal power of 303.15 MW.
• It generates approximately 1,091,500 MWh of electricity per year, which helps to offset around 886,800 tons of carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions annually.

Turbines and Infrastructure

• The project features 47 wind turbines, each with a nameplate capacity of 6.45 MW, supplied by Goldwind Science & Technology Co Ltd.
• The turbines are installed on fixed foundations, specifically monopile foundations.

Construction and Operation

• The construction of the project commenced in 2021 and it entered into commercial operation in December 2021. The project was developed in a single phase.

Contractors Involved

• Goldwind Science & Technology Co Ltd: Provided the wind turbines for the project.
• Shanghai Taisheng Wind Energy Equipment: Supplied the towers for the wind power project.
