The Pingtan Changjiangao Offshore Wind Farm is located on Haitandao Island, Pingtan, Fuzhou, Fujian, China. The approximate coordinates are 25.5999, 119.8501 (WGS 84).

Phases

The wind farm is developed in multiple phases:

• Phase 1: This phase is currently operating and was commissioned in 2024. It has a nameplate capacity of 185 MW. The owner and operator are Fujian Datang International New Energy Co., Ltd. and Pingtan Datang Offshore Windpower, respectively.

• Phase 2: This phase is in the pre-construction stage and is planned to have a nameplate capacity of 110 MW. The ownership and operation will be similar to Phase 1, with Fujian Datang International New Energy Co., Ltd. as the owner.

Ownership and Operation

The wind farm is owned and operated by Fujian Datang International New Energy Co., Ltd. (100% stake), with the operational responsibilities handled by Pingtan Datang Offshore Windpower for the operational phase.

Technology and Infrastructure

• The wind turbines in the Pingtan Changjiangao Offshore Wind Farm are installed on fixed foundations, specifically using offshore hard mount (monopile foundations).

Capacity and Electricity Generation
