Phase I: CGN Rudong Offshore Demonstration Project

- Turbines: 38 Siemens SWT-4.0-130 turbines, each with a 4 MW nameplate capacity.
- Total Nominal Power: 152 MW.
- Foundations: Fixed foundations using monopile structures.
- Electricity Generation: The project generates approximately 400,000 MWh of electricity annually, offsetting around 267,000 tons of CO2 emissions per year.
Phase II: Jiangsu Rudong Offshore Demonstration Project
- Developer: Jiangsu Longyuan Offshore Wind Power Co., Ltd..
- Owner: China Longyuan Power Group (100% stake).
- Commissioning: Commercial operation began in 2015.
- Turbines:
- Phase I of this expansion: 25 Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy turbines, each with a 4 MW nameplate capacity.
- Phase II of this expansion: 25 Envision Energy EN136/4.0 turbines, each with a 4 MW nameplate capacity.
- Total Nominal Power: 200 MW.
- Foundations: Fixed foundations using monopile structures.
Operational Status
Both phases of the Rudong Offshore Wind Farm Demonstration Project are currently active and operational.
Environmental Impact
The combined projects contribute significantly to reducing carbon emissions, with the CGN Rudong phase alone offsetting 267,000 tons of CO2 annually.

- CGN Rudong Phase: Developed by Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industries Co Ltd, with turbines supplied by Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy.
