Yangjiang Shapa - phase II

Location

The CTGNE Yangjiang Shapa - Phase II offshore wind farm is located in the western sea of Shapa, in the South China Sea, specifically in the Guangdong province of China. The coordinates for the site are 21°19′05″N 111°29′18″E.

Capacity and Turbines

The wind farm has a total installed capacity of 399.9 MW (or approximately 400 MW). It consists of 62 units of offshore wind turbines, each with a capacity of 6.45 MW. The turbines are of the Mingyang MySE6.45-180 model.

Developer and Ownership

The project is developed and owned by China Three Gorges New Energy Co Ltd, a subsidiary of China Three Gorges Corporation.

Commissioning

The CTGNE Yangjiang Shapa - Phase II offshore wind farm was commissioned in December 2021.
