Vessel Description

Skandi Installer is a purpose-built offshore construction and installation vessel designed to support subsea installation, flexible lay, construction support, and inspection, maintenance and repair (IMR) operations. The vessel features the distinctive Ulstein X-BOW® hull design, which significantly improves seakeeping performance, fuel efficiency, and crew comfort in harsh sea conditions.

The vessel is equipped with a large clear deck area capable of supporting heavy construction equipment, flexible lay systems, and sizeable cargo loads. Its diesel-electric propulsion configuration combined with DP2 capability enables precise station-keeping during sensitive subsea operations without anchoring.

Fitted with a crane system capable of substantial lift capacity, the vessel supports a wide range of offshore energy sector activities including but not limited to pipeline and umbilical installation, ROV operations, and offshore wind support.
