Vessel Description
Bourbon Ruby is a Platform Supply Vessel (PSV) operated under the Bourbon Marine & Logistics fleet, a subsidiary of Bourbon Corporation, one of the world's largest offshore marine services groups. Registered under the Luxembourg flag and identified by IMO 9386689, the vessel was built in 2008 at a French shipyard and is representative of Bourbon's standardized fleet of modern offshore vessels.
Designed for the support of offshore oil and gas exploration and production operations, Bourbon Ruby is equipped with Dynamic Positioning (DP2) capability, allowing it to maintain station without anchoring — a critical requirement for operations near offshore platforms and subsea infrastructure.
The vessel features a large open cargo deck, capacity for bulk dry and liquid cargo (including drill water, fuel, and methanol), and is capable of supporting deepwater operations in challenging offshore environments. As part of the Bourbon fleet, the vessel has historically been deployed in West African waters and other international offshore zones, providing supply and logistics services to major oil and gas operators.
