Vessel Description
COSCO SHIPPING FANRONG is an ultra-large container vessel (ULCV) built by Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding in China and delivered in 2022. With a capacity of over 20,000 TEU and a deadweight of approximately 200,000 tonnes, she represents one of the largest classes of container ships operated under the COSCO Shipping Lines fleet. The vessel is deployed on high-volume international trade corridors, primarily the Asia–Europe and Trans-Pacific services, contributing to COSCO's strategy of fleet modernization and economy-of-scale operations. She sails under the Chinese flag and is managed by COSCO Shipping Lines Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China COSCO Shipping Corporation, one of the world's largest shipping conglomerates.
